• Condition: drained of coolant and oil, free of plastic tanks, rubber hose, steel brackets, mounting frames and brass fittings unless contracted
• Excluded: radiators with plastic header tanks still attached (a separate, discounted grade), oil coolers, and units containing refrigerant
• Moisture and residual fluid: trace only — residual coolant is both an environmental and a weight issue and buyers will claim on it
• HS code: 7602.00 for all-aluminium (Tally). Aluminium-copper radiators (Talk) may be classified under 7404.00 as copper-bearing waste depending on copper content and destination.
What determines the price — For Tally: LME aluminium, minus deductions for plastic, steel, rubber and residual fluid. For Talk: recoverable copper against gross weight, LME copper on the day, and the aluminium-to-copper ratio. Freight and lot size for both. Tell us which grade, the tonnage and the discharge port.
Typical applications — Secondary aluminium alloy production (Tally); copper recovery and secondary copper smelting (Talk); mixed non-ferrous separation plants.
Supply terms — Available by 20ft container load; radiators are bulky, so material is normally baled or crushed to make the loading economic. Third-party pre-shipment inspection on request at buyer's account. Quoted per metric ton, FOB or CIF.
