HDPE BLUE DRUM REGRIND
Blue drum regrind is recycled high-density polyethylene produced from 200-litre industrial drums — a blow-moulding grade resin with high molecular weight and excellent environmental stress-crack resistance, which is why it is one of the most sought-after post-industrial HDPE streams. The blue colour is consistent enough that the regrind can be used directly in coloured applications without full compounding.

• HS code: 3915.10 (waste of polymers of ethylene)
What determines the price — Virgin HDPE resin price sets the ceiling; the discount is set by wash status, colour consistency, flake size uniformity, moisture, contamination with PP or metal, MFI consistency, and freight. Unwashed regrind from unknown prior contents discounts hardest — often to the point of being unsellable into regulated markets. Send us your MFI and colour requirement with your tonnage.
Typical applications — Blow-moulded non-food containers, drums and jerrycans; injection-moulded crates, pallets and bins; pipe and conduit where the grade permits; compounding and colour masterbatch carriers.
Supply terms — Packed in jumbo bags (typically 1,000–1,200 kg). Available by 40ft container load; regrind loads well and a 40HQ typically takes a substantial tonnage. Pre-shipment sampling and laboratory MFI/density testing available on request at buyer's account. Quoted per metric ton, FOB or CIF.
