OCC waste paper scrap
OCC — old corrugated containers — is the highest-volume recovered paper grade in world trade and the primary furnish for recycled containerboard. It is bought and sold on what is not in the bale, so the whole negotiation reduces to three figures: moisture, outthrows and prohibitive materials. We supply OCC baled from commercial, retail and distribution collection streams to containerboard mills and recycled-pulp producers.
Grades supplied
• OCC Grade 11: baled corrugated containers with liners of test liner, jute or kraft. Commonly contracted as 95/5 or 90/10 — the ratio expresses the permitted proportion of non-conforming material.
• DS-OCC Grade 12 (double-sorted OCC): a cleaner, double-sorted grade with tighter tolerances, sold at a premium to grade 11.

OCC is a globally traded index commodity — prices move weekly with containerboard mill demand in China, India, Southeast Asia and Turkey, with domestic collection volumes at origin, and with ocean freight.
